Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with the State of Ohio, a licensed plumber in the state of Ohio, as well as a licensed Land Surveying Intern. His professional career has run deep in construction and design with great responsibilities entrusted with him along the way.

From humble roots growing up on his family’s farm near Gambier, Ohio, Troy learned the value of hard work and the value of people being able to trust you at your word. These core principles guided him from his time laying block during high school, to his college job inspecting subdivisions and performing various types of land surveying.

To begin his professional career, Troy specialized in the construction of large scale airfield facilities. He became responsible to maintain tight budgets and meet deadlines. These experiences taught him to make timely decisions, keep an eye on the bottom line of the project, and ensure a high standard of quality.

After starting a family, Troy began working at a company focused on construction in the dental field. He was invested in every aspect of the company’s work, internally and externally, managing large projects along the way. He was also responsible for the professional engineering and drafting. This includes painstaking detail paid to architectural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC portions of the project. Rising to the position of General Manager, his focus shifted to client procurement and business development.

During his free time, Troy enjoys spending time in the woods and fishing with his two daughters Tory and Taylor.
